Lake Notes: Stresa Music Weeks

The exceptional location and the outstanding concerts will be the main elements of your stay by Lake Maggiore. The many concerts of the Stresa Music Weeks will set the pace of your holiday in one of Italy’s most enchanting areas

1st Day: arrive in Stresa, settle in the 4-star La Palma hotel.

2nd Day: visit to the Borromean Islands: a motorboat will take you to Isola Bella with its beautiful Baroque Palace and Italian gardens, to Isola Pescatori for a fish-based lunch and Isola Madre. Return to the hotel is scheduled for early in the afternoon; transfer to the location of the chosen concert in the evening.

3rd Day: after a good breakfast you will go to lake Orta, a lovely area with a long history and great culture, only a few kilometres from Lake Maggiore. You will be able to visit the medieval town of Orta S. Giulio, on the most romantic of Italian lakes. Before returning you will have an excellent good-bye lunch in a restaurant in the town centre.

• Guided tour of the island with a private motorboat
