The wild and stark Val Grande (“Large Valley”) is a true paradise for the most enthusiastic trekkers. This valley, which stretches from Lake Maggiore to the Vigezzo and Intrasca valleys, was turned into a national park in 1992.
With its lonely mountain peaks and remarkable views, Val Grande is a great place for all kinds of outings (easy, difficult, intermediate levels), allowing trekkers to walk among woods, old mountain pastures and the small villages that are part of this valley's history.
Our guides will lead you along the old mule-tracks and roads the locals used in the past. Most importantly, you will be able to admire the fantastic landscape of the Alps.
