Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome to Stresa

Arrive in Stresa and check in to your hotel.

Spend the afternoon strolling along the elegant lakeside promenade and exploring the charming historic centre of one of Lake Maggiore's most beautiful towns.

Overnight in Stresa.

Day 2 – Following the Wildlife Trails of Val Grande

After breakfast, travel independently to Val Grande National Park, Italy's largest protected wilderness area.

Accompanied by an experienced nature guide, enjoy a fascinating family-friendly excursion as you learn to identify animal tracks, footprints, calls and other signs of wildlife hidden within the forest.

With a little luck, you may even spot deer, roe deer, foxes or golden eagles in their natural habitat while discovering the extraordinary biodiversity of the park.

An educational and engaging experience that allows both adults and children to experience nature from a completely new perspective.

Return to Stresa.

Evening at leisure and overnight.

Day 3 – Villa Pallavicino Park

After breakfast and check-out, spend your final morning at Villa Pallavicino Park, one of Lake Maggiore's favourite family attractions.

Walk through beautiful botanical gardens, tree-lined avenues and open lawns while meeting zebras, flamingos, kangaroos, parrots, llamas and elegant peacocks.

Children will especially enjoy the educational farm, where they can interact with goats, fallow deer and other friendly animals in a peaceful natural setting.
