Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome to Stresa

Arrive in Stresa and check in to your hotel.

Spend your free time exploring the elegant lakeside promenade or wandering through the charming historic centre before enjoying dinner at a restaurant in the heart of the town.

Overnight in Stresa.

Day 2 – The Borromean Islands and the Stresa Festival

After breakfast, set off to discover the magnificent Borromean Islands.

Your first stop is Isola Bella, home to the impressive Borromeo Palace and its extraordinary Baroque terraced gardens overlooking Lake Maggiore.

Lunch will be served at Ristolounge Elvezia, where you can enjoy local cuisine in one of the lake's most exclusive settings.

In the afternoon, continue to Isola Madre, the largest island of the archipelago, renowned for its peaceful botanical gardens filled with rare plants and colourful blooms from around the world.

The highlight of the day awaits in the evening as you attend a performance at the Stresa Festival, selecting your preferred concert from the official programme, subject to availability.

Dinner at leisure and overnight.

Day 3 – Villa Taranto Botanical Gardens

After breakfast and check-out, visit the spectacular Villa Taranto Botanical Gardens, widely regarded as among the finest botanical gardens in Europe.

Created by Scottish captain Neil McEacharn, the gardens are home to thousands of plant species from across the globe, beautifully arranged among elegant avenues, fountains, ponds and seasonal flower displays.

A peaceful walk through these remarkable gardens provides the perfect conclusion to a holiday celebrating music, culture and nature.
